Cannabis Tourism Advocacy Toolkit:

To better enable CTAI members to create a strong community and build relationships with community groups, citizens, business leaders and policymakers regarding cannabis travel policy, CTAI has created the Cannabis Tourism Advocacy Toolkit. The Advocacy Toolkit is a suite of tools intended to translate cannabis travel advocacy into policy.  The Toolkit is a resource to support effective communication about the cannabis travel trend with any audience. It includes strategic talking points to support a meaningful discussion about the importance of cannabis-related travel, sustainable practices, public safety, education and what that means for the hemp, cannabis, and travel industries globally as they integrate. The CTAI Toolkit is a container of assets that fosters advocacy through a glossary of terms, list of groups to engage, responses to common concerns, data-driven education and step-by-step guides.

CTAI Annual Cannabis Travel Data Report:

In our 2023 Data Report in partnership with New Frontier Data, Studies have shown that cannabis-motivated travelers can have a significant, positive impact on the local economy. Even for industries outside of the cannabis sector, such as food, shopping, and ancillary products. Although few consumers have experienced cannabis tourism activities, most are interested in trying them.
